Toddlers

Being a Toddler is all about development through play and exploration. Our staff creates a warm and enriching environment of growth tailored to your child’s unique learning style. Parents can expect their Toddlers to participate in daily potty training sessions, development of a structured classroom routine, circle time activities with music and movement, as well as letter and shape recognition.

Some Developmental Milestones Include:

  • Demonstrates independence and individuality
  • Body awareness and muscle control for potty training
  • Verbal self-expression of wants, needs, likes, and dislikes
  • Begins to show empathy for others
  • Greater attention span during story time and other subjects of interest
  • Social and emotional growth by cooperative play and helping others

Toddlers Daily Schedule

  • 6:30 – 8:00am: All Toddlers Combined Free Choice/All Centers Opened
  • 8:15 – 8:30am: Bathroom/Hand Washing
  • 8:30 – 9:00am: Breakfast
  • 9:00 – 9:30am: Diapers/Potty/Hand Washing
  • 9:30 – 10:00am: Music/Puzzles/Sensory
  • 10:00 – 10:30am: Gross Motor Indoor/Outdoor
  • 10:30 – 10:45am: Circle Time
  • 10:45 – 11:15am: Centers/Free Choice/Art
  • 11:15 – 12:00pm: Hand Washing/Prepare for Lunch
  • 12:00 – 12:30pm: Bathroom/Hand Washing Prepare for Nap
  • 12:30 – 2:30pm: Naptime
  • 2:30 – 3:00pm: Diapers/Potty/Hand Washing
  • 3:00 – 3:30pm: Snack
  • 3:30 – 4:00pm: Free Play
  • 4:00 – 4:30pm: Gross Motor Indoor/Outdoor
  • 4:30 – 5:00pm: Group Activity
  • 5:00 – 6:00pm: Combine All Toddlers/All Centers Open
  • 6:00 – 6:30pm: Combine with Infants/Departure
